Let the Heavens and Earth Praise The LORD

Alleluiah. of Haggai and Zachariah.

1 Praise the lord from out of the heavens! Praise him in the highest! 2 Praise him all you his angels! Praise him all his forces! 3 Praise him O sun and moon! Praise him all the stars, and the light! 4 Praise him O heavens of the heavens, and the water up above the heavens! 5 Praise the name of the lord! For he spoke, and they existed. He gave charge, and they were created. 6 He established them into the eon, and into the eon of the eon. [²an order ¹He made], and it shall not pass away. 7 Praise the lord from the earth, O dragons and all abysses! 8 fire, hail, snow, ice, wind, blast -- the things executing his word; 9 the mountains and all the hills; the trees bearing fruit, and all the cedars; 10 the wild beasts and all the cattle; the reptiles, and [²winged creatures ¹feathered]; 11 kings of the earth, and all peoples; rulers and all judges of the earth; 12 young men and virgins; elders with younger; 13 let them praise the name of the lord! For [³is exalted ¹his name ²alone]. The acknowledgment of him is above the earth and heaven. 14 And he shall exalt the horn of his people. A hymn to all his sacred ones; to the sons of Israel; to a people approaching to him.
